Christchurch Old Boys United (COBU) focuses on athletes competing in sprints, throws, and jumps, offering high-quality coaching and year-round access to all-weather training facilities at Christchurch Boys' High School.
The club history dates back to the early beginnings in 1920.

Club Records
Athletes at COBU range from high school aged to senior athletes, with the emerging Christchurch-Avon’s members to moving across to COBU ranks as they graduate from the children’s age grades. Athletes have the opportunity to compete in regional interclubs, provincial and national meetings, with some going on to compete internationally.
